The estate's origins date back to the 15th century, and it was given its name in the VXIII century by François de Péguilhan, Marquis deTerme. Camille Sénéclauze has been its owner since 1935. Situated on a central plateau, its 39 hectares of gravelly soil, typical of Margaux, are planted with noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, which have made the international reputation of Médoc wines.
