The following general terms and conditions of sale are applicable to all contractual relationships and services provided by Chiodi Ascona SA, unless otherwise agreed. Any general contractual conditions of the Customer in conflict with our general conditions are applicable only if expressly approved in writing by Chiodi Ascona SA.
Chiodi Ascona SA does not sell wine or spirits to anyone under 18. By placing an order on [Website] you confirm that you are of legal age. If you instead request sending to a third person, it is necessary to confirm that at the time of the order, the person who will collect the shipment is of legal age.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT.
Chiodi Ascona SA reserves the right to make changes in prices throughout the year. However, they have no effect on the items for which the order has already been sent. Payment for the items ordered is made by advance payment, or by means of the credit card chosen by the Customer and for which the dialog box in the online shop has approved the transaction. Chiodi Ascona SA also reserves the right to request advance payment even after sending the order confirmation (automatically generated by the system), in individual cases where this appears necessary.
All our invoices are payable 30 days net. After 60 days, subsequent supplies can only be made against cash payment at the time of delivery. The sale of our products is only possible in Switzerland.
Accepted payment methods :
The items will be shipped from the moment Chiodi Ascona SA receives credit to their bank account.
Once an order has been confirmed and definitively sent, it is binding. Sending means confirmation of the order relating to the items in the virtual cart. As soon as your order is received, you will be sent a confirmation email (automatically generated by the system).
Our range of products is not fixed, but is continuously updated, therefore the uninterrupted availability of the proposal indicated on [Website] cannot be guaranteed. If a product is not available or the available quantity is reduced, it will be indicated in the shop.
In Ticino, deliveries are taken care of entirely by Chiodi Ascona SA and the service is offered free of charge to customers. This requires delivery to be made within 10 days after receiving the order. Any delays will be communicated promptly to the customer.
Deliveries can also take place through postal or railway services, in this case the costs are borne by the customer. For shipments outside the Canton of Ticino the costs are calculated based on the quantity ordered and added to the price of the goods purchased.
For orders exceeding CHF 500, shipping costs remain the responsibility of Chiodi Ascona SA and are therefore not charged to the customer.

Your order is binding for [Website]. In principle, the products ordered cannot be exchanged or returned. Only the exception applies where the condition of a product is damaged or defective once delivered.
Chiodi Ascona SA guarantees that the goods are in perfect condition when they leave the warehouse. If upon delivery an item is damaged or does not correspond to the goods ordered, the Customer may return it after notifying Chiodi Ascona SA as soon as possible, at the latest within 8 days after delivery of the goods. The item must be returned in the original packaging and together with a copy of the invoice and delivery note. Returns will only be accepted if a damaged item was delivered or the wrong item was sent.
Any possible problems must be communicated via the appropriate LINK form . Once 8 days have passed since delivery of the goods Chiodi Ascona SA will consider the goods accepted by the customer and it will therefore no longer be possible to make a complaint.
Circulation bottles (25 cl, 50 cl, 100 cl) are invoiced / cleared CHF 0.30 per unit.
The viniharasse and palettes are made available free of charge. The buyer is in any case obliged to return them to the supplier (provision on loan use, art. 305 CO).
Foreign bottled wines produced and bottled at origin are not reclaimed or replaced.
The Swiss or foreign wines bottled by us will be replaced or reclaimed, after verification by our manager.
Only bottles sold by us in the last 2 years will be replaced, with a content of at least 75% of the original wine and closed with their own cork.
The goods remain the property of Chiodi Ascona SA until the invoice is paid in full.
These general conditions of sale may be modified at any time and without notice. In the event of incorrect translations, the prevailing language is always Italian.
