Château Langoa Barton is a 3ème cru in the 1855 classification of St. Julien appellations, on the left bank of the Bordeaux. The estate was acquired in 1821 by the Barton & Gustier company, which already possessed experience in wine production because it owned Château Leoville Barton, purchased by the same family in 1826.
Today the Barton family still runs the estate.
Thanks to 20 hectares of vineyards in the southern part of St. Julien, the wines produced are true to the traditional style of the appellation.
