Glenmorangie Madeira Wood Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands produced by Glenmorangie using an innovative aging technique: after maturation in traditional American oak casks, the whisky receives a secondary finish in casks that previously contained Madeira wine. This imparts rich, fruity and complex aromatic characters, with notes of dried fruits, caramelized citrus, honey, sweet spices and a touch of toasted wood, balancing the typical floral delicacy of Glenmorangie alcohol with the intensity of Madeira. This expression was part of the "Wood Finish" series from the 1990s/2000s.
