Domaine Louis Latour is one of the largest wineries in Burgundy, with more than 200 years of winemaking history behind it. Its 50 hectares of vineyards, spread over the best plots of land in the Premier and Grand crus of the Côte de Baune and Côte de Nuits, produce a range of wines from 130 appellations.
Louis Latour has been actively involved in environmentally friendly viticulture since 1996.

This vineyard was donated to the Abbey of Citeaux in 1218, along with the Moulin de la Ville in Mersault under the name "Santenots." The Volnay "Santenots" parcel is very varied, and the red wines produced are lighter but more elegant than those made on higher hillside soils.
