The Allegrini family, originally from the Veneto region, known for its award-winning wines from Verona, continued its expansion into Tuscany with the purchase of Poggio al Tesoro in Bolgheri and Poggio San Polo in 2007 in Montepulciano. The estate covers 17 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 480 m above sea level in a prime south-southeast location. The new winery brings all modern ecological standards back to people and nature, producing certified organic wines.
