Fleurie is one of the ten Beaujolais crus that make up the high range of wines from this region. The "Les Garans" vineyard owned by Domaine Latour is located northeast of the village of Fleurie and is reputed for the quality of the wines produced because of the association of a unique terroir with a very specific microclimate.
