Overlooking the Gironde estuary, Château Sociando-Mallet owned by Sieur Sociando in the 17th century, the Mallet family added their name to the estate that was purchased in the 19th century. Since 1969, the Gauntreau family has transmitted passion and energy to this respectable 85 Ha Château on a gravel and clay terroir with clay-limestone subsoil.
Château Sociando-Mallet has always been a wine with great aging potential. A wine to enjoy even after 30 years in great vintages.
