Among the best dry whites from Bordeaux and Pessac Léognan, this wine combines richness, concentration and finesse. High aging potential.
Château Pape Clement is one of the oldest Grand cru classé vineyards in Bordeaux.
With a history dating back to the 13th century, the illustrious Château was founded by Bertrand de Got, the archbishop of Bordeaux who a few decades later, in 1305 became Pope under the name Clement V.
The estate is now owned by a wine connoisseur, Bernard Magrez, and covers an area of 35 Ha hidden among the suburbs of Pessac, mainly of red vines and only 2.5 Ha planted with white vines.
