Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the three first classified located in the municipality of Pauillac. It produces one of the most prestigious Bordeaux wines, which bears the same name. It shares this rare distinction with Château Margaux, Château Latour, Château Lafite Rothschild and Château Haut-Brion. The Mouton Rothschild vineyard covers 84 hectares of vines planted with 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot on gravel, pebbles and sand, often clayey, typical of the Médoc. Mouton-Rothschild wines are concentrated and intense, with plenty of body and a toasty, hedonistic side.

Excellent with noble, succulent and spicy red meats, duck, pigeon, mature cheeses, game.

90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc Affinato in fusti di rovere francese, nuovi al 100% per 24 mesi.
Aromas of graphite and cedar are present and correct, the former a little more accentuated and with a light note of sea spray that emerges with time. The palate is well balanced, with cedar and a light peat note infusing the black fruit, stiff in youth but well defined.
