The appellation Château Laville Haut-Brion is originally a combination of two different property names. These two properties, Clos Laville and Château La Mission Haut-Brion, were united in 1928 by the owner of La Mission Haut-Brion, who at the time was Frederic Woltner. In 1931, the wine became known as "Château Laville - Terroir du Haut-Brion" and in 1934 it became "Château Laville Haut-Brion" with the mention "Premier Cru de Graves" on the label. The 2008 vintage will be the last for Château Laville Haut-Brion. The 2009 vintage relaunches the Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc saga.

Excellent with grilled fish or fish with various sauces.

Semillon 79%, Sauvignon blanc 21%
Straw yellow in color with golden reflections. Intense on the nose with hints of yellow flowers, tropical fruit, pineapple, lime, mint, resin and a finish marked by saline and liquorice notes. In the mouth it has a great, excellently integrated freshness, aromatic concentration at the highest levels and a very long finish.
