The Chateau was named by Chevalier Antoine de Lascombes in the 17th century, and many owners have succeeded since then. The current owner is the American Lawrence family who purchased it in 2022.

The estate has an overall surface area of 112 Ha. It consists of a complex of parcels with a unique diversity of soils, consisting of a gravelly, clayey hillside and clay-limestone parcels.

The Ch. Lascombes vineyard is composed mainly of Merlot, an original element compared to the other Margaux crus.
