Château Lagrange, 3rd Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is located in the heart of the prestigious Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyards of this appellation, located on the left bank of the Gironde, in the heart of the Médoc between Margaux and Pauillac, are extraordinarily special, with 85 percent of their acreage belonging to Grands Crus Classés.
Château Lagrange is a large estate with nearly 120 hectares of vines.
After a period of economic and weather difficulties, the Japanese Suntory group purchased the estate in 1983, making major investments in both the vineyards and the winery.
