Gruaud Larose has always tried to value the role of man in the creation of his elixir; both to his work and the link established with the vineyard. Strains and grapes are nothing without man, without these creators of Crus, from the most modest to the most powerful. Since its creation in 1725, four families have succeeded each other at the helm of Gruaud Larose: in 1997 the Merlaut family became its owner.
