An 'icon of Bordeaux wines. The origins of Château Ausone can be traced back as far as 1592. A major producer in Saint-Émilion, Ausone is one of four estates, along with Cheval Blanc, Angélus and Pavie, to be classified Premier Grand Cru Classé-A in the appellation.
