Maison Mumm's rosé Champagnes have a long history behind them. In the early 19th century, Hermann Mumm's father was already producing a highly regarded "oeil de perdrix" Champagne. The name came from the wine's deep pink hue, which was reminiscent of the color of the partridge eye.
