Barolo Chinato is a flavored Piedmontese Barolo red wine produced by Azienda Bel Colle in the town of Verduno in the Langhe region of Italy.
It is made from Barolo DOCG to which a sweet infusion of various spices is added, the main ones being cinchona calissaia, rhubarb root and gentian left to macerate under alcohol for at least 30 days to extract the aromatic components.
