Excellent with noble, succulent and spicy red meats, duck, pigeon, game, mature cheeses

The grapes come from old vineyards in the Ronchi del Bellinzonese area. Produced with Bordeaux-type vinification and long maceration. The wine is subsequently aged in barriques, mainly new, for approximately 18 months. Suitable for long storage.
Color: intense ruby red, with violet reflections. Nose: intense and complex with pleasant aromas of berries and spices, with elegant toasted notes. Taste: dry, broad and with good structure. It has a complex, fruity, vanilla and mineral flavour. Harmonious and persistent.

The Carlevaro winery maintains privileged relationships with Piedmont, and in Monferrato, Gian Piero vinifies Barbera grapes, producing 200,000 litres. The production of Merlot becomes a priority, thanks to the composition of the soil and the Ticino climate, guaranteeing a high level of quality in the wines, with the cellar producing 800,000 bottles.
