One of the most renowned wineries in the entire Loire has been in the hands of the Ladoucette family since the 18th century, since 1787 to be precise, when Count Lafond settled in the region, buying the Renaissance chateau of Nozet in Pouilly-sur Loire. The descendant, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a master winemaker, creates wines in Pouilly and Sancerre that are appreciated worldwide and difficult to surpass in elegance and quality.
