An icon of Bordeaux wines. The origins of Château Ausone can be traced back as far as 1592. A major producer in Saint-Émilion, Ausone is one of the four estates, together with Cheval Blanc, Angélus and Pavie, to be classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé-A in the appellation.

Excellent with complex and fragrant dishes of red meat, pigeon, game, large mature and fragrant cheeses.
