Le Monde is a winery located in the Grave del Friuli area in the province of Pordenone. They produce excellent quality wines for the Italian market through specialized channels and for international markets where they are present in 15 countries, with production exceeding 700,000 bottles a year.
Alex Maccan, with his lifelong companions Marta, Giovanni and Massimo, have realized their dream in the enhancement of the wines of their land.
The Grave del Friuli area, shaped by rivers that deposited here the calcareous-dolomitic material wrested from the mountains, consisting of clay-limestone soils that cover the gravelly layer capable of enhancing the aromas of great whites, but also favorable to the production of red wines, thanks to the presence of microelements present in these soils.
