Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 by Pierre Perrier and his wife Adèle Jouët. Born on an exceptional Champagne terroir (Ay, Mailly, Avize and Cramant), the Maison's cuvées are recognized for their singular style endowed with aromatic richness, refinement and finesse. Perrier-Jouët became from 1861 the titular Champagne of the English Royal House and the French Imperial Court. In 1959, ownership passed to the Champagne Mumm company and it is currently part of the Pernod-Ricard group.
La Maison is widely recognized for its Belle Epoque style, not only for its ornate bottles, but for its extremely enveloping Champagne made from Chardonnay.
