Second wine from the historic Château Latour estate. Les Forts de Latour is named after a historic plot of land in the "Enclos." François Pinauld acquired Château Latour in 1993 and the estate covers 95 hectares including 47 hectares in the "Enclos" surrounding the château where the grapes for the great wine are produced.
The wine was first labeled with this name in 1966, and constant work to improve its quality has led it to the level of Médoc Grand Cru Classé.
